About Us

We are a company called uGrow, run by sixth form students of Immanuel College. The company is part of the Young Enterprise scheme whereby sixth formers learn to set up and run a business. We aim to teach children or anyone interested the skill of gardening in a new form with creative, strange, unique seeds from cucalemons to black tomatoes.

Our life started from nothing and we did several fund-raising activities to help it grow. We carried out a teacher’s car wash over a lunch time. We ran a couple of nail painting session. And we also sold selfie sticks to school pupils. These schemes helped us bring in necessary capital in order to buy stock and get tables at school fairs.

Our aim is to teach children the skills of gardening and educate them as to where food comes from in a fun, tasty, innovative fashion. Our kits include unique, funky vegetable seeds such as cucamelons and black tomatoes. They come on a special seed stick so that little fingers can handle them easily. Our kits can also help in your children’s Key Stage 2 learning. All of our products are eco-friendly.

We hope you join the uGrow family and please let us know about how your vegetables grow and taste.
