Educational Garden Kit For Kids

1.Place the soil tabs in water face-up and leave for ten minutes

2.Place the expanded soil into one of the plastic pots

3.Put a seed stick into the soil with  the seed going in about three quarters down

4.Place a maximum of 4 pots into the cellophane wrapping and use as a Mini-Greenhouse

5.Water every three days and leave on a window sill that gets plenty of light

6.Once shoots are starting to touch your greenhouse remove the cellophane ad carefully plant into soil outside with shoots over ground level

7.Now water your plant every-other-day

8.Once your vegetables look ripe, pick and enjoy

 

Spare sticks can be planted staright into soil outside with about an eighth of the stick out of the ground. Water every other day and pick when ripe.

 

 

Make-Your-Own Terrarium Kit

1.If you are using a fizzy drink bottle, cut the base off four inches from the bottom of your litre bottle scissors. The bottom part will be the planter and the top part will be the cover of the terrarium.

2. Layer your terrarium: Add an inch of pebbles to the bottom of the planter. Add a single layer of activated carbon. This will filter the water. Add another layer of pebbles, a layer of moss, lichen or pistachio shells. Add potting soil (about  ½ an inch below the top part of your planter).

3. Plant your terrarium: Water your plant carefully, then plant it into the soil. Then Add your toy so that it can enjoy living in your rainforest.

4. Add the final touches: Lightly water your terrarium. Cut a short slit down the back of the planter, about a ½ an inch. Push the planter together where you cut the slit and place the cover on top. Put your terrarium in a spot where it’ll get plenty of INDIRECT sunlight and then your done

 

There’s no need to water your plant as the bottle makes it an ecosystem (for how this works please get in contact)
